CLIENT: United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
I took on a supplemental ID project aimed at encouraging my colleagues to wash their hands properly. This was during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

CHALLENGES: 
I had some trouble ensuring that content was accessible to busy and easily bored colleagues. 

Solutions: 
I made heavy use of visual aides, shortened sections, and made the flashcards at the end of each section optional. 

Results:
Of the three dozen faculty who continued to work on base through the spring semester, none contracted Covid-19 to my knowledge. We received regular updates from the infirmirary about the extent of Covid-19 infections among faculty, leadership, cadets and staff.
